Hurricane Florence - 5 PM Update
Based on the 5 PM forecast model from the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Florence has continued its western track and is expecting to make landfall near the SC/NC border. Our office is located in the northeast region of SC and our area is expected to be significantly impacted by this hurricane.
Earlier today, a mandatory evacuation was issued for all SC coastal residents. Roadways are being diverted to allow for better traffic flow and quicker evacuation. Schools in our area are closed until further notice.
The latest track for Florence indicates that it may impact South Carolina sometime Wednesday or Thursday this week. The safety and security of our employees and customers are our primary concern. We are making necessary contingency plans and preparations for a probable storm landfall.
Decisions on schedule changes, potential delays, and other measures will be made as more information becomes available. However, based on the current storm projection, it is increasingly more likely that we will experience some schedule interruption as a result of this storm.
